Trump Promises His Wall Will Help Eradicate New Hampshire’s ‘Tremendous Drug Epidemic’

New Hampshire has a “tremendous drug epidemic” that would be fixed by a stronger border, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said Saturday.

In a video message to voters ahead of next week’s primary, Trump touted his notorious plan to build a wall at the border between the U.S. and Mexico in order to stop the flow of drugs in New Hampshire as well as the rest of the country.

“Every time I go [to New Hampshire], people come up to me, and they say, ‘Mr. Trump, what are we going to do? Drugs are pouring in,’” the business mogul said. “I’m going to create borders. No drugs are coming in. We’re going to build a wall.”

“Believe me, I will solve the problem. They will stop coming to New Hampshire, they will stop coming to our country,” he continued. “The people that are in trouble, the people that are addicted, we’re going to work with them and try to make them better, and we will make them better.”

According to Real Clear Politics’ aggregated polling data, Trump is polling in first among the Republican presidential candidates at 30.7 percent. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is behind him with 16.4 percent.
